U2’s Bono and the Edge team with Garrix !

Next month, the UEFA Euro 2020 will start. As you already know, Martin Garrix wrote the entire music for this event, and he invited a special guest to sing on the anthem song... in fact, he invited two guests, the amazing Bono and the Edge from popular band U2.

Martin Garrix shared the big news today on social media, he also revelead the song will be called «We are the people (we’ve been waiting for)». The tune will be available for Martin’s birthday, on May 14th 2021, exactly one year after «Higher Ground».

Last year, Martin Garrix teased us about this collaboration with Bono saying «it is by far the biggest name I’ve ever worked with, and probably would ever work with in my entire life, I remember being in the studio next to him, (yeah, I’m gonna say to HIM), and it did feel weird, it was the weirdest, craziest experience in the studio ever» (read «In conversation with Martin Garrix « article).
