After months of anticipation, Martin Garrix has officially started his Americas Tour in Dallas, with two opening shows at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. The project has been built over the past few months with a clear focus on a dedicated solo format, different from the festival schedule he has been known for until now.
For this tour, Martin Garrix is giving space to local openers, selected through an open call earlier this year. Out of thousands of applications, 29 artists were chosen to perform in their home cities. In Dallas, night one featured local talent Ryø, followed by Julian Jordan. On the second night, another Texas-based DJ, Fierles, opened before Julian Jordan. The tour includes 27 dates across 16 cities throughout North, Central and South America, making it the largest solo run of his career so far.

In the weeks leading up to the launch, Martin Garrix was in Los Angeles preparing the show with his core team under the direction of Gabe Fraboni. A new stage has been designed for this tour, built around a deep metallic grid structure integrating lights, lasers and transparent LED panels. At the center, the Garrix “+” is carved into the structure, with the DJ booth placed inside it. New visuals were created to match this setup, keeping the fast and direct style that defines his shows. Exclusive tour merch is also available on site, including commemorative t-shirts linked to this new production.
On Friday, May 1st at 8:45 PM, the venue went dark as “Catharina” opened the show. On the central screen, Martin’s eyes appeared in close-up, slowly opening, with the Garrix “+” visible in the pupil. The sequence moved through childhood footage, moments with his sister, and early memories, building a strong emotional tension before the drop. When Garrix stepped on stage and addressed the crowd, the energy shifted immediately as the Surf Mesa Remix hit. Throughout the song, faces filled the screen in a visual approach reminiscent of JR’s large-scale portraits.
The set then moved into “Carry You”, followed by a mix of core tracks, STMPD IDs, and a new version of “Repeat It” with Ed Sheeran, set for release in the coming weeks. The crowd also heard classics like “In the Name of Love” and “Animals”, alongside heavier moments with tracks such as “Dragon”, “Glitch”, and more. The 2h15 show closed with “High On Life”. Dallas sets the tone for the rest of the tour, with more dates coming up across the Americas, don’t miss your chance to catch it live.
