Bizarre
“Bizarre” was released on July 3, 2026, as part of Madonna’s album Confessions II, marking Martin Garrix’s first collaboration with the pop icon.
The track had its live debut days before the album’s release. On June 13, 2026, during the final night of a three-show run at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York — part of his Americas Tour — Garrix gave “Bizarre” its world premiere, playing the previously unheard track live to the crowd. Fans quickly recognized Madonna’s vocals on the song, and clips from the show spread across social media within hours. Garrix later shared a clip from the performance on Instagram.
“Bizarre” went on to appear on Confessions II, Madonna’s follow-up to her acclaimed 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, which reunited her with longtime collaborator Stuart Price. The album leaned back into the house, disco and electronic sound of that era, and “Bizarre” was one of several dancefloor-driven tracks previewed ahead of the record’s release, alongside singles like “I Feel So Free,” “Bring Your Love” (with Sabrina Carpenter) and “Love Sensation.”
The collaboration marked a new name on Garrix’s growing list of pop crossovers, following team-ups with Ed Sheeran, Bono and The Edge, Dua Lipa and many others.
