Martin Garrix & Breathe Carolina
Something
Some tracks are made for one place, one moment, one crowd. Something was clearly built with Tomorrowland in mind.
Released on July 29, 2022, Something sees Martin Garrix teaming up with American duo Breathe Carolina. The track arrived as part of the STMPD RCRDS x Tomorrowland Music EP, a project created to celebrate the return of Tomorrowland after three years, under the 2022 theme The Reflection of Love.
From the first seconds, Something goes straight to the point. Fast, punchy, and unapologetically festival-driven, the track blends electro house energy with a raw, gritty drop. It’s the kind of production designed to hit hard on a mainstage, with a rhythm that instantly locks the crowd in. Before its official release, the track had already been premiered live by Garrix during both weekends of Tomorrowland 2022 on the mainstage. It quickly stood out as one of the IDs fans were waiting for, perfectly matching the intensity and scale of the festival.
There’s also a subtle detail that didn’t go unnoticed. On the vocal line “and it goes something like…”, it’s actually Garrix himself behind the mic, adding a personal touch to a track otherwise built as a pure crowd weapon.

“I’m super excited about the collaboration between STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music on this EP. This track is one of the IDs from my Tomorrowland mainstage sets and it really matches the energy of the Tomorrowland crowd. I’m happy everyone can listen to it now!”
