Martin Garrix
Bouncybob
feat, Justin Mylo & Mesto
At the end of 2015, Martin Garrix is in a transition phase. After leaving his previous label, he starts talking publicly about creating his own structure, with one goal, full creative freedom, without being limited to one specific sound.
On December 30, 2015, Martin releases Bouncybob as a free download, alongside Justin Mylo and Mesto. The track feels different from his previous releases, more playful, more experimental, and clearly aimed at clubs.
Built around a bouncy, almost unpredictable drop, the track blends future house elements with a raw energy that made it instantly stand out. It quickly became a favorite in live sets, especially for its unexpected switch-ups.
The release is accompanied by a fully animated video, matching the track’s chaotic and fun atmosphere, reinforcing that less serious, more creative direction.
Bouncybob represents a moment where Garrix is testing new ideas, new sounds, and new collaborations. A step away from expectations, and a glimpse of the freedom he was about to fully embrace with
his own label.
