Martin Garrix & Lloyiso
Real Love
In June 2023, Martin Garrix played three sold-out shows at Brooklyn Mirage in New York. During this short visit to the American city, he also made a surprise appearance at the JBL Store and spent a day in the studio with South African singer, songwriter and producer Lloyiso. During this session, they recorded two songs together and started working on a third. One of these songs is Real Love.
As it was planned as an upcoming radio single, Martin Garrix premiered Real Love during his show at Ushuaïa Ibiza on August 24, 2023. He played it again in the following days at Creamfields (UK) and in Le Touquet (France). Real Love was released on September 22, 2023, eight days after his season finale at Ushuaïa Ibiza. A lyric video was also released on the same day.
“I first came across Lloyiso when I saw one of his covers online and was immediately blown away by his amazing voice. It took quite some time for us to finally meet in person, but we clicked instantly, both on a personal and creative level. Our studio sessions have been amazing, and I’m super excited to share the first outcome of those sessions with everyone.”

Real Love was used as audio for the commercial of JBL x Martin Garrix Flip speaker. Fun fact: The photo of the cover art was taken in New York, on 18th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue.
