Home

feat. Bonn

At Tomorrowland 2019, Martin Garrix premieres a new song, "Take me home", which finally will be called "Home".

One month later, at Sziget Festival, "Home" becomes the new opening song of ANIMA show. And finally, it's released the 16th of August, just one day after Martin Garrix announced the date.

Home is the third collaboration between Martin Garrix and Bonn. They wrote it during Martin's recovering, in June 2019. The two first collaborations are the famous High on life and No sleep.

garrixers Lyrics

Song written by
Martin Garrix, Kristoffer “Bonn” Fogelmarkt, John Martin, Albin Nedler, Michel Zitron.

Oh, I was hiding from the pain
But now I’m tired of running
Felt like the gods forgot my name

In my head
I didn’t know where I was looking for
Because it closes something beautiful
And now I’ll never gonna let you go
You go, you go

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long
Hey, I've found a way
Back to the streets where they know my name
You know I've been all around, all around
But you always on my mind, on my mind
Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah

Oh, I was falling from my high
And I came down to nothing
Feels like the gods left me behind
In my head
I didn’t know where I was looking for
Because it closes something beautiful
And now I’ll never gonna let you go
You go, you go

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long
Hey, I've found a way
Back to the streets where they know my name
You know I've been all around, all around
But you always on my mind, on my mind
Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah

Been so long, been so long
Been so long, been so long
Been so long, been so long
Been so long, been so long

Home, take me home
Back to my roots
Yeah it’s been so long, yeah
