On April 9, 2012, Martin Garrix released his first official single, “ITSA.” Before this release, he had already been active in the studio, producing tracks behind the scenes as a ghost producer for other DJs.
Created in collaboration with Sleazy Stereo, “ITSA” is a high-energy EDM track released through Crowd Control. It marked the beginning of Martin’s public discography and set the foundation for what would follow. Like all of his future
productions, the track was made available on streaming platforms, reflecting the digital era that would define his rise.
